Full-time position for Route Tech. Must be able to work different schedules, have a valid NV driver's license, clean driving record and knowledge of the city. This job requires local travel in the Las Vegas valley in a company vehicle. Qualified applicants should have money handling skills, a good working knowledge of modern gaming machines and associated equipment, excellent customer service skills, strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Player tracking systems maintenance and installation a plus. G.R.O.'s services include the installation, operation and service of gaming machines (primarily video poker machines) in local taverns, convenience stores, motels and restaurants.

 

 

 

IT TECHNICIAN

 

Responsibilities:

  • Load, implement and test personal computers
  • Maintain and adhere to inventory procedures for PC hardware
  • Diagnose and repair software & hardware problems
  • Analyze, plan, design and install computers
  • Review, monitor, and upgrade existing computers
  • Provide computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by users
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all gaming equipment. (GMS Units, Printers, Scanners, Servers)
  • 25% of job consists of driving to various locations, 75% is phone & remote support.

  • Promote TEAM WORK within the IT department and all other departments as it relates to your ability to complete the tasks assigned to you.

Performance Requirements:

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Thorough knowledge of PC/Application support with proven skills in the installation and support of personal computers; knowledge of modems, routers, network transports, knowledge of PC based technology: Windows Server 2003, Windows XP and 7, and Microsoft Office; knowledge of all operating systems, installation, support, database and spreadsheet concepts; well developed verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.

 

Education:

High School Diploma with technical or professional experience related to the installation and maintenance of PC systems.

Advanced education in a computer related field desired; but not required.

 

Experience:

General knowledge and experience with any type of computer and; or software a must.

CAGE CASHIER

 

The Cage Cashier is responsible for providing the casino's banking services to customers and other employees by providing change, chips, table fills, slot machine fills and jackpot payouts during a scheduled work shift.

 

MARKETING CLUB REP.

 

Contributes to the overall success of Golden Rewards Club and marketing promotions as designated by the Director of Guest Services. Responsible for resolution on customer complaints and inquiries, supports marketing promotions and maintains Golden Rewards Club player cards and points.

 

COUNT/DROP TEAM

 

Collect and count gaming money in the casino - slots, poker, table games and kiosks. Open slot machines, drop doors, bill validator cans and other casino devices to remove assets. Process coins, currency, chips, tickets, coupons, etc. for count. Create accurate documentation that complies with Colorado Gaming and Internal Policies of performed counts. Operate machinery and computers to process the counts. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Other duties as assigned.

 

POKER DEALER

 

Omaha Hi/Lo. Have knowledge of TDA rules. Must read and understand Rule 10. Perform all duties in accordance with Golden Gates Poker Parlor policies and procedures also Colorado Gaming regulations and statutes.  Must have excellent guest service skills and professional demeanor.

 

SLOT FLOOR PERSON

 

Accurately and efficiently correct minor machine malfunctions, process fills and jackpots and enhance the guests gaming experience to maximize slot handle. Promote a work environment that is pleasant and desirable. Accept responsibility for a zone or section on the casino floor and monitor slot players and slot games in that area. Keep supervisors appraised of any unusual circumstances or situations. Act in a relation to employees, guests and/or general public in a manner consistent with the best interest of the organization. Understand the philosophy of the organization as set down by the administration and work effectively within it. Maintain clear and open communications. Maintain surveillance of assigned area and observes slot machine play. Verify, process and administer jackpots, fills and minor slot machine maintenance. Must have a Colorado gaming license, H.S. diploma or GED. Related experience and or training a plus. Excellent customer service skills required.

 

TABLE GAMES PIT CLERK

 

Responsible for the timely, creative and equitable resolution on internal and external customer complaints, inquiries and compliments.  Responsible for retention of customers and develop strong working relationship with Casino Hosts, TG Supervision and Golden Rewards Club.  Directly reports to Table Games Shift Managers. Maintains Golden Rewards ratings, comps and account information.

 

TABLE GAMES DEALER/HOST

 

Maintain "stage personality" and provide GOLDEN Service for extended periods of time while dealing blackjack and other table games according to the rules of the game.   Attract and retain guests by creating a high energy, "party" atmosphere.  Also perform the role of promotional spokesperson as directed by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager to include attendance at promotional events, meet and greet and on-property and off-site functions.  Travel and use of image for promotional purposes may be required.  Must converse and entertain players outside the pit, while on duty.  Promotes Golden Rewards program and demonstrates solid working knowledge of other games, promotions and services offered at property.  Maintains a knowledge of, and adherence to, company/department policies and procedures, including those pertaining to State and Federal regulations.  Controls pace of the game and ensures highest level of game protection at all times.  Informs Supervisor of attempts to cheat, floor irregularities or unusual play.

 

TABLE GAMES SUPERVISOR

 

Directly supervises assigned dealers in Black Jack department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Colorado Department of Gaming rules and regulations.  Follows organizations policies and procedures.  Monitors all table games. Enforces the gaming policies and procedures of the company. Responsible for the casino assets.  Monitors, directs and supervises dealers and observes table action.  Sets up dealer rotation and assists in scheduling. Changes cards and maintains proper table banks through fills and credits. Oversees closing procedures, arbitrates customer disputes arising from table play.

 

TABLE GAMES DEALER

 

Deals Table Games to players according to the rules of the game. Determines that bets are properly placed and within table limits, makes proper payoffs to winners and collects from losers.

 

HOSTESS/BUSSER

 

Supports servers by seating guests at tables, and responds to special guest requests. Promotes the image of Golden Casino Group as providing "The Best Customer Service in Black Hawk," through cordial, considerate and attentive service to Casino guests. Must be friendly and courteous and work effectively with Team Members serving the customer. Will be responsible for responding promptly to customer/server requests, clear dirty dishes from tables, reset tables for new guests, vacuum the dining room floors, and any other requests made by servers or supervisors.

 

F&B CASHIER

 

Supports guests by taking orders, getting/cooking food promotes the image of Golden Casino Group as providing "The Best Customer Service in Black Hawk", through cordial, considerate and attentive service to Casino guests. Responds to special customer requests. Attends to customers by insuring that food is hot, fresh and correct.

 

COOK

 

Supports the restaurant by cooking guests food, responds to special server/guest needs, insures that meals are hot, fresh and correct, works effectively with Team Members serving customers.  Responsible for food ordering, scheduling, inventory, supporting managers and supervisors.  Must lift and move 40-50 pounds, work required shifts including weekends/holidays, meet attendance requirements, quality standards, and productivity requirements.

 

COCKTAIL SERVER

 

Supports bars by serving guests drinks, and responds to special customer requests. Promotes the image of Golden Casino Group by providing the best customer service in Black Hawk," through cordial, considerate and attentive service to Casino guests. Attends to customers by insuring that beverages are served in a timely manner. Interacts with customers in a friendly and courteous manner. Works effectively with the team of employees serving the customer. Promptly responds to customer and supervisor requests. Completes special projects as requested. Completes all side work duties in a timely manner.

 

F&B SERVICE AND SECURITY REP

 

Supports bar by serving drinks, and responds to special customer requests.  Primary responsibility for security is to hold security keys, sign on jackpots from time to time, ensure there are no minors on property, direct questions relating to other security issues to the Security Department; (ideally someone in the position of a security supervisor and above). Rep must promote the image of Golden Casino Group as providing “The Best Customer Service in Black Hawk” through cordial, considerate and attentive service to the casino guests.

  

SERVER

 

Attends to guests by insuring food and drinks are served and refilled. Attends to guests by insuring that meals are hot, fresh and correct.Interacts with customers in a friendly and courteous manner. Works very effectively with Team Members serving customers. Promptly responds to customer and supervisor requests.Completes all sidework duties in a timely manner.Completes special projects as requested.
