LAS VEGAS – March 1, 2012 – Golden Gaming, LLC (Golden Gaming) announces today that it has closed its acquisition of slot route operations of Affinity Gaming, LLC (Affinity Gaming), including the acquisition of E-T-T, LLC; Market Gaming, LLC; Cardivan, LLC; and Corral Country Coin, LLC; and the purchase of Terrible’s Town Casino and Terrible’s Lakeside Casino & RV Park in Pahrump, Nev. In addition, as part of the transaction, Golden Mardi Gras, Inc., an affiliate of Golden Gaming, sold the real estate of its three Black Hawk, Colo. casinos, Golden Mardi Gras Casino, Golden Gates Casino, and Golden Gulch Casino to Affinity Gaming.
With the acquisition of E-T-T and Affinity Gaming's slot route entities, Golden Route Operations (GRO), Golden Gaming’s current slot route operation, will operate approximately 8,500 gaming devices in Nevada, across 640 locations.
“As the largest slot route operator in Nevada, we expect to lead the restricted gaming market toward new technology platforms and rewards programs which will give our route partners better tools to manage their businesses more efficiently and profitably," said Blake L. Sartini, CEO of Golden Gaming. “We are also pleased to add Terrible’s Town Casino and Terrible’s Lakeside Casino in Pahrump to the Golden family to complement our Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino. These acquisitions reinforce our commitment to the Nevada gaming market, and our belief that long term growth and a vibrant economy in Nevada will resume over time.
We welcome the outstanding team members of E-T-T and Terrible’s Pahrump casinos into the Golden Gaming family. We are excited to make a difference in each gaming venue we service or operate, and believe that begins with the service culture we instill in our team members, and the hospitality they deliver to our guests,” continued Sartini.
According to Sartini, the Colorado management team will continue to operate each of the three casino properties until Affinity Gaming obtains gaming licenses in Colorado. Until then, it will be business as usual and the Golden Gaming team will continue to provide the same quality service and product that their guests expect in each visit.
