Jay Fennel Joins Golden Gaming as Vice President of Gaming Development and Technology

LAS VEGAS – March 13, 2012 – Golden Gaming, LLC (Golden Gaming), has named Jay Fennel Vice President of Gaming Development and Technology.

Fennel is an experienced gaming leader with more than 23 years in the industry. He has extensive knowledge of gaming and business development, gaming operations, technology development, brand management, analytics, strategic planning, marketing, and customer retention.

Most recently, Fennel was Chief Operations Officer for Club Fortune Casino where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations and future vision of the company.

 

Formerly, Fennel was Corporate Director of Slot and Gaming Operations for Station Casinos, Inc. and Director of Slot Operations for Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Fennel has a proven track record in gaming operations and development. Fennel has created and deployed technology solutions to mitigate marketing and database-related initiatives that have resulted in maximum guest worth and profitability. In regard to employee relations, Fennel has produced programs which have resulted in improved engagement and increased retention. In addition, Fennel has streamlined operations to avoid layoffs, continued to match 401K contributions, and maintained health care benefits in a challenged economy.

 

As Vice President of Gaming Development and Technology, Fennel will be responsible for all management of gaming equipment, gaming systems, and related technology for Golden Gaming, Golden Casino Group, Golden Route Operations, and PT’s Entertainment Group. His primary focus will be the implementation of all gaming and related technology to optimize operations and profitability while maintaining an overall distinct competitive advantage. 

 

Fennel is currently a council member of Gerson Lehrman Group, a network of academics, scientists, industry practitioners, and other professionals worldwide. He is an alumni member of the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration Alumni Association, and a dedicated honorary member of the Boys and Girls Club of Henderson, Nev.

 

Fennel received a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration degree from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
